Donald R. Andersen has been lead or co-counsel on intellectual property issues in state and federal courts in six states. A practicing attorney for nearly 30 years, he has significant background in patent, trademark, trade dress, trade secret and unfair competition litigation. Don is one of only 31 attorneys to be certified by the Florida Bar as a specialist in the field of aviation law.
Renee Martin-Nagle joined Airbus Industrie of North America in 1990 as the first in-house counsel for the company in the United States and Canada. For four years prior to her arrival at Airbus, Martin-Nagle served concurrently as the General Counsel of both Aerospatiale Helicopter Corporation (now American Eurocopter) and Aerospatiale General Aviation, both of which were located in Grand Prairie, Texas. At Aerospatiale, she was once again the first counsel in North America for a major European aviation concern.
Bob Craft is the senior litigation partner in the Litigation Practice Group of Holland & Knight's New York City office. Mr. Craft’s practice is devoted primarily to providing advice and conducting litigation concerning aviation, product liability, mass disaster, and insurance matters.
Michael Baumeister has combined his extensive trial background with more than 40 years of aviation experience as a pilot; Mr. Baumeister's career has been dedicated to helping air crash victims and their families receive proper and adequate compensation, as well as to making improvements in aviation safety. He has served as a leading Member of the Plaintiffs' Steering and Executive Committees in every major airline disaster in which the firm has represented victims and their families.
Aaron Podhurst has been a distinguished trial lawyer for more than forty years. He was born April 29, 1936, in New York City, and received his B.A. from the University of Michigan in 1957, and his Juris Doctorate Degree from Columbia University, where he was a Harland Fiske Stone Scholar. Aaron was admitted to the Florida and New York Bars in 1961.
Mr. Podhurst made his reputation as one of the nations premiere plaintiff’s aviation lawyers, and continues to hold that status.
James P. Kreindler joined Kreindler & Kreindler LLP in 1983 and became a partner in 1987. He is a magna cum laude graduate of Dartmouth College, 1977. He received his J.D. degree from Columbia University in 1980, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone scholar. He began his career as an Assistant District Attorney in the Kings County (Brooklyn) District Attorneys' Office. Mr. Kreindler is a frequent lecturer on Aviation Accident Litigation and Terrorism Litigation throughout North and South America and Europe.
John Scott Hoff is the senior partner in the Chicago law offices of Hoff & Herran. After eight years active duty in the USAF, during which he received his JD degree and two masters degrees, he joined the FAA as a trial attorney in the office of the Chief Counsel in Washington D.C. In 1976, he entered private practice with Lord Bissell & Brook in Chicago. For over thirty years he has specialized in aviation and insurance defense, and has been recognized nationally as a leader in the field of aviation law.
Marc S. Moller is a trial and appellate lawyer who has been a partner in the law firm of Kreindler & Kreindler LLP for more than twenty-five years. For most of his professional career he has represented plaintiffs in commercial aviation accident, mass disaster and other wrongful death and personal injury cases. Mr. Moller's extensive aviation litigation experience has led to awards and settlements in cases involving virtually every type of commercial and general aviation aircraft, corporate jet and charter aircraft, helicopters and military aircraft in operation today.
Katherine B. Posner joined Condon & Forsyth in 1977 and has been a partner in the firm's New York Office since 1984. Kathy concentrates her practice in the areas of insurance and reinsurance law and all phases of commercial litigation concerning aviation, product liability, mass disaster, employment and insurance matters.
Kathleen Yodice joined Yodice Associates in the Spring of 1998 and is chiefly involved in representing pilots and companies in aviation matters. Ms. Yodice began her law career at the Federal Aviation Administration where she spent 12 1/2 years handling policy issues, enforcement litigation, medical certification issues, and airport matters. As an FAA attorney, she was a frequent lecturer at FAA Aviation Medical Seminars and FAA Enforcement Seminars. In private practice, Ms. Yodice continues to enjoy speaking on aviation legal issues, and she authors a regular column in AOPA's Flight Training Magazine and in Aviation for Women magazine.
John D. Horenstein joined Condon & Forsyth LLP in 1999 and is a partner of the firm. John has broad-based practice experience in handling complex tort and commercial litigation and sophisticated commercial transactions. As a trial and litigation attorney, John's experience involves representation of clients in the areas of product liability defense (including counseling manufacturers on preventive measures), general aviation and mass tort litigation in both federal and state courts.
